Session
Serving as an elder is an experience in spiritual leadership and growth. The Book of Order charges elders to “exercise leadership, government, spiritual discernment, and discipline and have responsibilities for the life of a congregation as well as the whole church.” These individuals in the church act in faithful and wise use of their talents and energy to support the nurture, education, mission, fellowship, and stewardship of the church and its resources.
Our session meets the third Wednesday of every month (except July) at 6:15 p.m. in the Session Room of the Pleune-Mobley Center.
