Megan (she/her) joined the staff of Highland in January of 2018. She graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary as a dual degree student and holds two master’s degrees – a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Originally from Texas, she holds a B.A. in art and anthropology from Austin College in Sherman, TX. Following college, she served as a Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) in Miami working with Haitian and Central American immigrants and refugees. While the YAV program is only one year long, she ended up staying five years in Florida discerning a call to ministry and mission before moving to Louisville for seminary. Megan is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Kentucky and Indiana, but is not currently practicing. She and her spouse Shannon have two daughters who attend the Nursery & Weekday School. Megan enjoys doing anything outdoors and loves fall weather in Kentucky!
