Karen Crow, mezzo-soprano, is a native of Middle Tennessee. She holds a Bachelors of Music Education from Lee university and a Masters of Music Performance from Austin Peay State University, where she was later invited to return as an adjunct professor in voice. Karen's varied performance credits include appearances with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Memphis Opera Chorus, Austin Peay Opera Theatre, and finalist at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Artist Awards. After nearly a decade of performing and teaching in the mid-South area, Karen expanded her vocal education and completed a Masters of Speech Language Pathology at the University of Memphis and received a Certificate of Vocology from the National Center of Voice and Speech through the University of Utah. She is currently a Speech Language Pathologist and Voice Specialist at the Louisville Center for Voice Care where she treats a variety of professional voice users recovering from vocal injury.
