Music Ministry

Pictures from the February Choir Retreat

Highland Presbyterian Church has a strong connection with music. We feel music is a way to bring people together by fostering a sense of fellowship and allowing members to have a feeling of “giving back” through artful worship. We strive to create rehearsal environments that encourage artistry, good pedagogical technique, spiritual revelation, emotional sensitivity, and foremost, love and respect of one another through dedicated musical collaboration. Ultimately, music is not our end product, but a conduit to a higher spiritual awareness. It provides a medium for contemplative prayer, profound study, and deep human connection. It helps to uphold the church’s core values and promote growth for future endeavors. Come find your place to express your gifts and talents in our many ensembles. Our music ministries include various choral and instrumental opportunities, performing a variety of genres from ages 4 through adults. Please contact Dr. Vini Frizzo for any questions or interest.
