Nicaragua Under the Sun (NUTS)

Our Nicaragua Mission Partnership Team serves and communicates with a team in Mirazul del Llano, Nicaragua. Together, we have a covenant relationship with the community to work toward the self-development of their community. Between mission trips and funds support, the Mirazul community has built a nursing station, community center, sewing co-op, two water treatment plants, and are working towards improving educational programs. Highland currently supports between 12-20 secondary and university students through tuition grants given to the community. Through these grants, we have supported many students in the completion of their educational studies who would otherwise not have access or ability.
